The wind has kicked up but not as high as was predicted and the firefighters are using a slurry bomber and helicopter with water buckets to slow it down. Last estimate of the fire’s size was 21 acres. The Dillon Wildfire is located above the Oro Grande Trail (aka the Dump Road) between the Oro Grande Subdivision and the Corinthian Hills Subdivision on Tenderfoot Mountain. The wind is pushing it uphill. No evacuations at this time. Find more at http://www.summitdaily.com/recent-stories/

Spring is in the air! A great time to review Insurance coverages on your Summit County Property.
For many Associations, the annual HOA insurance policy renewed April 1, and there are no major coverage changes. It is a good idea to talk with your agent to check that all of your unit coverages are up to date. As units are remodeled and equipped with new furniture and additional belongings, your insurance needs and limits may change. Your agent can review your individual unit owner policy (often referred to as an “HO6” policy) to ensure your coverages are adequate. If you rent, be sure to let your agent know. “Deductible assessment coverage” is also a coverage to discuss with your agent. Should you have any questions with regard to the coverages in place for your HOA, please call Summit Resort Group!
